Yuyu no Sato Yusa & Ofuro Cafe Yusa

Yuyu no Sato Yusa draws its own hot-spring water at Kurosawa Onsen, on the edge of Yamagata. The fifth-floor bath is semi-open-air with a view toward the Zao mountains, paired with a large indoor bath and a low-temperature infrared sauna in both the men's and women's sections. Some rooms come with their own open-air tub fed from the same source. Attached to the ryokan is Ofuro Cafe Yusa, a day-use bathhouse wing with a book lounge, a kids' area and a restaurant, so the baths see a mix of overnight guests and day visitors.
