Kibokkonoyu

A foot bath in the middle of Tsuchiyu onsen town, right next to the Nakanoyu (中之湯) public bath. A river runs along one side, so you soak to the sound of running water with the town in view. The water is hottest where it comes in and cooler further along, so you can pick your spot, and there is a faint sulfur smell. A small kokeshi figure sits by the pool. Of the several foot baths in town, this one is said to draw the most people, and it is pleasant after dark too.
