About

A small ryokan in Tsuchiyu Onsen (土湯温泉) in Fukushima, with water from a spring on its own grounds blended with the town's shared spring. The large baths include an open-air bath with a view, Shoun (翔雲), and a fifth-floor indoor bath, Saiun (彩雲), and the men's and women's sides swap over the course of the day. A half-open bath looks out over the Arakawa river, so you hear it as you soak. There are also private open-air baths you can reserve, and day visitors can book them just like overnight guests. Soap and shampoo are in the large baths but not in the private open-air baths. Free parking.
