Kada Hot Spring is a small town-run bathhouse in Iinan, next to a local produce corner. The bath itself is simple: one indoor tub big enough for a handful of people, a dry sauna, and a cold plunge, no outdoor bath. The water is cloudy and golden with a faint iron smell, and the facility describes it as kept flowing through the tub rather than treated and reused. The sauna is set at a fairly mild 80 to 90 degrees, so people tend to stay in longer. It sits under Mount Kotobiki with the Kando River close by, a plain, well-used spot where hikers and locals soak side by side.
