Sawako no Yu is a small public bath (koshu yokujo, 公衆浴場) in Iwaki Yumoto, a hot spring town with more than a thousand years of history, and it takes day-use visitors (higaeri nyuyoku, 日帰り入浴). It has two baths, Kofuku no Yu (幸福の湯) and Takara no Yu (宝の湯). Takara no Yu is a rock bath with a utase-yu (うたせ湯), a stream of water that falls onto your shoulders. The baths are gender-separated and swap between men and women daily, so a second visit can bring a different bath. There is also an accessible bath, available by reservation.
