Spa Hotel Sumire Kan

A plain, older business-style hotel in Iwaki Yumoto with separate men's and women's baths filled with fresh source water (kakenagashi, 掛け流し). Guests describe the water as not too hot for Yumoto, and the bath as bright and kept clean. Day-use bathing (higaeri nyuyoku, 日帰り入浴) is accepted, but tattoos are not allowed. Dogs can stay here and there is a small bath for them, which is the reason some regulars choose it. The rooms are simple, a bookshelf of manga sits by the front desk, and the town smells faintly of spring water when you step outside.
