Ichiryukaku

Ichiryukaku is a ryokan in Iizaka Onsen that lets day visitors in for a bath (higaeri nyuyoku, 日帰り入浴). The bath is indoors only, a tile-lined tub, and visitors say it runs a little gentler than the famously hot baths elsewhere in town. The entrance and lobby feel pleasantly Showa-era, so go for the old-school atmosphere rather than for polish. Reviewers also note that the shower may not run hot, so don't count on it.
