KKR Hotel Biwako is a straightforward hotel on the shore of Lake Biwa. Both the men's and women's sections have an indoor bath with a sauna, looking out over the lake. The bathing water is piped in from the group's sister hotel in Atami rather than drawn on site, so this is more a lake-view soak than a local hot spring find. The restaurant serves an Omi beef course and draws lunch-only visitors even when they aren't staying the night. Day bathing is only sold as part of a meal package (lunch, two meals, or a barbecue plan), not as a stand-alone soak.
