Allows entry with visible tattoos
Tattoos must be fully covered with a single 8x10cm patch to use the communal bath.

Children 7 or older, or 120cm and taller, may not enter the opposite-gender bath; guests still in diapers must use the baby bath.

Eihokaku is a traditional ryokan in Himi, overlooking Toyama Bay and, on clear days, the Tateyama mountains across the water. The communal baths pair an indoor bath and jet bath with an open-air bath facing the sea, filled with clear, salty water; the men's and women's sides swap between evening and early morning. Guests staying overnight can also reserve one of two private family baths for a set time. The dining hall serves local seafood and Himi specialties, and the inn runs a reserved day-use plan that pairs a group meal with a soak in the baths.
