About

A roadside station (michi-no-eki) with a day-use bath attached. There are two baths, Yamazakura-no-yu (山桜の湯) and Rindo-no-yu (リンドウの湯), and they swap between men and women depending on whether the date is odd or even. Facilities include an indoor tub, an open-air bath, a dry sauna and a cold plunge, with rinse-in shampoo at the washing stations. The water is the salty kind, and the open-air bath looks out on mountains and a plain stream below. The station also has a restaurant and a shop with local products, so it works as a stop on a drive as much as a destination.
