About

A modest day-use bathhouse in Furumachi, Minamiaizu. Men and women each have an indoor bath and an open-air bath (rotenburo), kept flowing fresh with salty, iron-rich source water that turns cloudy and red-brown. There is no sauna and no designer tubs; the place says so itself. Two halls double as a dining room and a rest area, and the menu runs to ramen, curry and set meals, so it works as a stop for a soak and a bite.
