A farmhouse-style ryokan on a hillside in Minamiaso, with 15 detached cottages each having its own covered open-air bath looking out over the Aso peaks. The spring water runs fresh into every tub (kakenagashi, 源泉かけ流し), arriving faintly tinted with a mild sulfur note. Day visitors can use the gender-separated shared bath or one of the 10 private family baths.
