A hot sodium-calcium chloride spring drawn from a tank that blends four Kinosaki wells (No. 27, 28, 29, and 30). The salty, heat-retaining chloride water is moderately mineralized with noticeable body. With 86.7 mg/kg of metasilicic acid it leaves a thin silica film that makes skin feel smoother.

28. Satonoyu, Kinosaki Onsen, Hyogo ★★ Onsen. It is in the building next to the station. Included in the hotel pass or in the pass for ¥1,500. Towel, small one, ¥200, large rental ¥300 per day (you can return it at any Kinosaki Onsen). The bath entrance is on the 2nd floor. Inside: - main bath with stones; - round extra bath; - utaseyu; - cold-water bath. From the indoor area, you can go up the stairs to the 3rd floor, where there is an outdoor bath with a nice view of the forest, the water, and the unfinished bridge. The outdoor bath is divided into two sections. In the first, smaller section, water falls from pipes, and there is also a small waterfall made separately, you can stand or sit under the water from them, with splashes flying onto all the other onsen visitors. The second section, for some reason, had a no entry sign. The water is clear, I did not really remember the smell. The temperature is normal, except for the main indoor bath, which felt hotter there. The largest onsen in terms of functionality among the seven Kinosaki baths. It is designed for the maximum Kinosaki crowd, but it still distributes people inside quite well. Recommended to visit, top 3 among Kinosaki public onsen in my opinion. 30.12.2023
