About

Spa Resort Hawaiians is a resort and water park in Iwaki Yumoto where the hot-spring water runs through a lot more than the baths. There are two ways to bathe. The swimsuit zones are shared by everyone, and the Palace large bath is the naked, gender-separated one: about twelve kinds of bath across 24 tubs, with a jacuzzi, a lying-down bath, a cypress bath, an outdoor rotenburo, a sauna and a cold plunge. The water is sulfur water. Palace is also the only place in the park with wash stations. Other corners include a utaseyu (打たせ湯) and a seasonal herbal steam bath. It is a family destination, with four hotels on site and restaurants, and day visitors can come in on an entry ticket. Tattoos are not allowed.
