About
Harukiya is an old-fashioned ryokan on the Iwaki Yumoto side of Iwaki, with 21 rooms and a large parking lot. The baths are indoor only, separate for men and women, with sulfur-type water that regulars say warms you through. Day visitors are welcome for a soak, and locals seem to be among them. The building is Showa-era and worn in places, and the place is quiet and unfussy, the kind of inn people come back to for the baths and an easy stay rather than for polish.
