A no-frills business hotel in Haramachi, Minamisoma, where the draw for a bath visit is the large communal bath. There are separate men's and women's baths, plus a dry sauna and a cold plunge that visitors describe as just right. Shampoo, conditioner and body soap are set out, and bath towels can be borrowed. The restaurant, Hamazen (浜膳), also takes diners who aren't staying. The hotel has free parking. Day visitors (higaeri nyuyoku, 日帰り入浴) are welcome. Nothing fancy, but a solid bath and sauna at an easy price.
