A no-frills guesthouse in the Manganji Onsen (満願寺温泉, Manganji Onsen) area of Minamioguni. Bathing is at the adjacent communal hot spring facilities, a short walk away: an indoor onsen hall and a riverbank open-air bath known locally as Japan's most exposed rotenburo (日本一恥ずかしい露天風呂, Nihon-ichi hazukashii rotenburo). Guests typically receive a free bathing pass from the owner for the indoor baths. The place has the feel of a well-worn travelers' lodge, and the owner's welcoming manner is a big part of what keeps guests coming back.
