About

A small ryokan in Higashine Onsen. The water is a soft amber color. The indoor bath smells of cedar and cypress, and there is a garden open-air bath as well. Private baths (kashikiri-buro, 貸切風呂) can be reserved. The men's and women's baths are separate, named Kohaku and Usubeni. Higashine Onsen opened in 1910, and the inn is a quiet, adult-feeling place. Day-use bathing (higaeri nyuyoku, 日帰り入浴) is available at set times.
