About

Tabiyakata Arashi no Yu is a ryokan in Higashine Onsen that also takes day visitors. The main bath is an indoor one on each of the men's and women's sides, with natural hot-spring water that is clear with a faint amber tint and runs hot. The women's side also has a small open-air bath. Shampoo is provided at the wash stations, and there is parking out front. The house specialty is Arashi no Yu (嵐の湯), a pair of heated-stone rooms for yakuseki-yoku (薬石浴), a sweat bath on warmed stone floors. The inn is clear that it is not a sauna, and it costs extra on top of the bath. Guests staying overnight can use both the baths and the stone rooms early in the morning and late at night.
