Every bath here is its own private room, rented out for one group at a time; there is no shared communal bath. The onsen water is noticeably smooth on the skin, with the natural mineral smell of a real hot spring that visitors mention. Some rooms open onto a small open-air bath while others are indoor only, so it is worth asking at reception which room has one. It is a simple, no-frills day-use spot near Harazuru onsen in Asakura.
