Lodge Iris

Lodge Iris is a laid-back lodge in the Tazawako Kogen onsen area, among beech trees with Lake Tazawa in view. It has an indoor bath in aromatic Aomori hiba wood and an open-air bath surrounded by trees, both filled with onsen water. Some guests expected a ski lodge and were surprised by how good the baths are. Rooms are simple, with a mix of Japanese-style rooms and ones with shared facilities, and meals are served in the lodge.
