Iyasaka

Iyasaka is a local shokudo (食堂) with a bath attached, the kind of old neighborhood place where you eat and then soak. The water runs hot and feels slick and smooth on the skin, and visitors say it leaves you warm through afterward. There is an open-air bath (rotenburo) too. The food side is the main business, with set meals, noodles and sashimi that regulars come back for, and it fills up at lunch on weekends.
