Ayuri Onsen is a town-run health center in Yabuki, on a small rise near the Yabuki Chuo interchange. There are two baths, one indoors and one outdoors, both wide and kept simple. The water is very smooth and slippery on the skin, and many visitors say the open-air tub is the one you can stay in for ages. Men's and women's baths are separate, with washing stations stocked with soap and shampoo. After bathing you can rest in the large hall, the tatami rooms or the lounge. No food or drink is served, but you can bring your own. The parking lot is large. The sauna has been reported out of service recently, so don't count on it.
