About
A small, 10-room hotel out in the pastureland and marshland near Shibecha, with day-use bathing open to non-guests. The rotenburo is built from big rocks in a rough, natural style, and there is a spacious indoor bath too. The water is mor onsen (モール温泉), faintly brown and known locally for being kind to the skin, kept flowing fresh (kakenagashi). Baths are separated by gender, and the women's changing room has a baby bed. Beyond the baths, the hotel runs a restaurant, a summer barbecue area, a dog run and an archery hall, more a countryside hotel than a dedicated onsen ryokan.
