About

Sunny Land Konan is a small, city-run bathhouse near the south shore of Lake Inawashiro. Its single indoor tub is filled with clear alkaline spring water pumped up from about 700 meters underground, valued locally for easing stiff shoulders and joint aches. It's a plain, no-frills building with only five washing stations, mostly frequented by neighborhood regulars rather than visitors passing through.
