About
Higashiyama Grand Hotel is part of the Oedo Onsen Monogatari group, set back in the quieter upper stretch of Higashiyama Onsen in Aizuwakamatsu. The top-floor communal bath is spacious, with a wide washing area, a sauna and an open-air rotenburo that guests single out for its view. Guest rooms don't have their own bath, but the communal bath is built to cover it. The building is older but has been renovated, so the public spaces feel fresh while the bathing floor still shows its age.
