Ashina is a small inn in Aizu Higashiyama onsen with an indoor bath and a rotenburo (open-air bath). By day the baths are separated for men and women. In the evening they turn into private baths, one room at a time, for staying guests. The inn calls itself an irori inn (いろりの宿), has seven rooms and dates from the Showa era, so it feels more like a quiet family-sized stay than a big resort. A review mentions that the bath looks toward the road, so it is not one for the view.
