Mercure Urabandai Resort & Spa

A resort hotel in the Urabandai highlands of Fukushima. Guests bathe in a large communal bath (daiyokujo, 大浴場) and an open-air bath (rotenburo, 露天風呂); visitors describe the baths as clean and pleasant, if fairly ordinary. Dinner and breakfast are buffets, which several reviewers praise, though not everyone. The building is older and parts of it have been refurbished. It was formerly known as Active Resorts Urabandai (アクティブリゾーツ 裏磐梯).
