Satsunai Garden Hot Spring

Satsunai Garden Hot Spring is a large day-use bathhouse complex in Makubetsu, built around its own moru (moor) hot-spring water, a type of onsen formed from ancient plant matter. The complex runs two full bathhouses, one Japanese-style and one Western-style, that swap between the men's and women's sides every week. Each side has an indoor bath, an open-air rotenburo, a jet bath, an electric bath, a standing waterfall shower (utaseyu), a cold bath and a dry sauna. Outside the baths there's a restaurant, a fitness room with a women-only section, massage and aroma treatments, several rest lounges and nap rooms, a dog run and a park golf course on the grounds.
