157. Hotel New Matsumi, Beppu Stayed overnight. Did not take meals. There is a bath upstairs with a view of the bay. They do not stamp the onsen-do stamp. On the 7th floor there is an indoor bath and an open-air bath. The water in both baths is clear, and the temperature is between warm and hot. It is comfortable to breathe in the indoor bath. There is also a sauna. The view of the bay from the open-air bath is spoiled by an awful number of fences. In fact, there is no view. There is also a private bath on the 6th floor, I did not use it.
