On Tuesdays and Thursdays the bath opens later, 13:00-18:00, for pipe cleaning (13:00-15:00, last admission 14:30, if that Tuesday or Thursday is a public holiday). Weekends and holidays are 11:00-15:00, last admission 14:30. Hours change during Golden Week, Obon and New Year.
900 yen for adults and 500 yen for children on weekdays, 1,000 yen for adults and 600 yen for children on weekends and holidays.

KAMENOI HOTEL HIKONE sits on the shore of Lake Biwa, with a natural hot spring, Hikone Chino-Matsubara Onsen, feeding the sixth-floor bath. The glass-walled main bath looks straight out over the lake toward Chikubushima island and the Hira mountains, though it is indoor only. A separate reservable private bath has both an indoor tub and an open-air one, for guests who want to soak outside. Rooms all face the lake, and the hotel also runs restaurants serving local Omi beef and lake fish.
