A straightforward day-use bath on the edge of Yonezawa. There is one indoor bath and three open-air ones: a lukewarm lying bath, a medium one and a hotter tub-style one. The water is light and smooth, and the temperatures are gentle enough to stay in for a while. The open-air side looks out over rice fields, and it is quite open, so you feel the view both ways. A sauna and a sand bath (sunaburo, 砂風呂) are available for an extra charge. It opens early in the morning, which makes it an easy stop on the way to or from the Zao and Shirakawa Lake side. Parking is roomy.
