YesAdults 800 yen (buy a ticket at the vending machine inside and place it in the box next to it). Day-use guests enter through a dedicated door on the 1st floor. Only the large communal bath (daiyokujo) is available.

About
Hitoyoshi Onsen Shirasagiso (人吉温泉しらさぎ荘) is a small ryokan in Hitoyoshi that reopened in April 2023 after being destroyed in the 2020 Kumamoto floods. The spring water flows fresh without recirculation (kakenagashi), and bathers note it leaves the skin smooth and refreshed. There are gender-separated indoor baths, reservable private family baths, and detached cottages with in-room baths available around the clock for overnight guests. The inn is a member of the Pure Hot Spring Association (純温泉協会, Junsansen Kyokai) and is well known locally for a zashiki-warashi (座敷童子), a household spirit said to reside in one of the rooms.
