Mitsuzawa Onsen

Hot water comes out of a clay pipe beside an old bathhouse hut in the village of Mitsuzawa. It is a wild spring (noyu, 野湯) rather than a bathing facility, and it seems to sit on private land. Reviewers say to get the owner's permission before even looking, and more so before bathing. One visitor found the pipe lidded and blocked with a concrete block, so access is not guaranteed. A more recent visitor mentions water rising under a well that works as a hand bath (teyu, 手湯).
