Akakura Onsen Midoriya Ryokan

A small, family-run ryokan at Akakura Onsen in Mogami-machi, at the far end of the hot-spring town. Bathing is simple: two indoor baths, one large and one small, with a men's side and a women's side, and a rock bath that guests single out, fed with clear hot-spring water that flows in fresh. The inn only takes two parties a night, and the old building has been patched up here and there over the years without losing its homely, family-run feel.
