Akakura Onsen Warabeuta-no-yado Yunohara

Yunohara is a ryokan in Akakura Onsen, on the banks of the Oguni River in northern Yamagata. The indoor bath and the riverside open-air bath both sit close enough to hear the current, and the water itself is smooth and soft on the skin. A private outdoor hinoki bath can be booked by reservation, with a tatami-floor changing area that works well for families with small children. There's also a wood-fired sauna, Omusubi Sauna, that runs by reservation. A free foot bath is open to anyone who wants to sit and soak their feet.
