This lodge in Mamurogawa (まむろ川温泉 梅里苑) has a large indoor bath with big windows looking out over the town of Mamurogawa. The men's and women's sides each have a sauna and a cold plunge. The water is natural spring water with nothing added, noticeably salty, and some visitors catch a faint tar-like smell. It runs on the hot side. Day visitors are welcome, and a cafe and a noodle shop on site serve lunch and sweets. You can also stay overnight in the lodge building or in one of the cottages, so it works as a stop on the road between Yuzawa and Shinjo as well as a place to sleep.
