Nakatsukeikoku Yunomori

This ryokan sits right on Nakatsu Gorge in the mountains of Kochi, with an indoor bath, an outdoor rotenburo, and a sauna. The water is clear, and the outdoor bath in particular runs lukewarm, good for a long soak. Men's and women's baths alternate between a riverside room and a mountainside room on a rotating schedule. A three-room annex added in March 2026, built with domestic timber, has its own private indoor bath, though that one isn't spring water. An on-site restaurant serves seasonal, local food, and day-use bathing is open to visitors alongside guests staying the night.
