About
Yakushiyu is a mixed open-air rock bath right on the bank of the Kusu River, with a faint sulfur note in the air and a wide view across the water to the inn-lined opposite shore. The water is a simple sulfur spring flowing straight from the source at 75 degrees, cooled with added water before it reaches the tub. Probably the tidiest of Amagase's riverside shared baths.
