About

A municipal bathhouse in Akayu, run by the local Akayu zaisanku (財産区, a community-managed property district). The bath is a single indoor tub, shaped like an eboshi (烏帽子, the tall court hat) that gives the place its name, filled with onsen water from the Yukawara source. There are wash stations, but no soap or shampoo is provided, so bring your own. It is a plain, everyday neighborhood bath that welcomes day visitors, with a small parking lot next to it.
