About

Daikokuya is a small, old-fashioned ryokan in Yunokawa Onsen, the hot spring district near Hakodate Airport. The bath is just one plain indoor tub, shared by men and women at different times, kept running straight from the source (kakenagashi) and always hot. The water is clear, faintly salty, and smooth on the skin. It's a quiet, well-worn old inn, rarely crowded, with staff known for being kind.
