Fukujuso is a small, family-run ryokan at the foot of Mt Norikura, about 1,500 meters up in Norikura Kogen. The onsen water is milky white and kept flowing straight from the source. Guests often mention the home-style warmth and hearty Shinshu dinners, dishes like salmon and pork hot pot, alongside the bath.
