Day Use

Yes
13:00–15:00

These hours come from a third-party day-use listing rather than the inn's own site, so it is worth confirming by phone, especially since access can close when the inn has group bookings.

¥400

Sources disagree on the day-use fee: the official site lists 400 yen plus tax, but several recent Google reviews and a day-use listing site report 500 yen flat. Worth confirming by phone before you go.

Site lists indoor + outdoor baths as ordinary shared building facilities with no mention of mixed bathing; none of 5 Google reviews mention 混浴 either. Exact arrangement (separate men's/women's vs a single time-shared bath) is unconfirmed, but no source anywhere suggests mixed bathing.

About

Ryokan Fukushimaya, whose name means roughly 'the inn of the white natural hot spring,' is a small twelve-room ryokan on the western side of Norikura Kogen. The spring water is piped down from a source high on Mt. Norikura, and it lives up to the name: cloudy white, heavy with sulfur, and warming through. There is an indoor bath and a rotenburo, with a small rest area to sit in afterward. Day-use bathing is open alongside overnight stays, and the inn keeps things plain and homely rather than polished.
