About
Himawari Onsen is Ozora Town's public bathhouse, tucked into the Memanbetsu agricultural community centre a short drive from Memanbetsu Airport. The bath is simple: a hot tub and a cooler one, both filled with clear, colorless water that feels smooth and faintly clinging on the skin. A sauna and a cold plunge were added when the building reopened in 2026 after a renovation. Individual wash stations line the bathing room, though soap and shampoo aren't provided free, so bring your own or pick up a set at the counter. Afterward there's a rest area with coin-operated massage chairs. Being so close to the airport, it's become a regular stop for travelers with an hour to spare before or after a flight.
