Hotel Abashirikoso stands on the shore of Lake Abashiri in Hokkaido. Its bathhouse, Kakkogen, holds four indoor tubs plus a sauna, and an open-air bath called Tennyo-no-yu (天女の湯) sits alongside them. The spring water is clear and salty on the skin. Many guest rooms have terraces facing the lake. Day-use bathing is open to non-staying visitors in the afternoon and evening.
