YesThe reservable private outdoor bath is closed in winter. The private indoor bath opens only in winter, on an irregular schedule, and can only be booked by phone on the same day.
Day-use bathing is 500 yen for adults, 300 yen for ages 3 to 12, and free under 3, plus a 150 yen bathing tax. Bath towel rental is 200 yen; face towels are free. The private outdoor bath is an extra 2,000 yen for 40 minutes, and the private indoor bath is an extra 500 yen for 50 minutes.

There are two reservable private baths on opposite seasons: an outdoor one open roughly spring through autumn, and an indoor one that only opens in winter on an irregular schedule.
Day visitors can book the private bath, not only overnight guests

The hotel stands on a hillside above Kamo Lake on Sado Island, looking out past rice fields to Ryotsu Bay, where ferries come and go, with the Osado mountains further behind. The shared bathhouse has both an indoor bath and an outdoor one, filled with smooth, undiluted spring water; men's and women's sections swap by day rather than mix. A private bath can also be reserved: an outdoor one running roughly spring through autumn, and a separate indoor one that opens only in winter, on an irregular schedule.
