About

Aokiya is an inn on the shore of Kamo lake on Sado, near Ryotsu port. The main bath, Tsuki no Miya (月の宮), has a hinoki tub called Hagoromo (羽衣) and a rotenburo terrace called Hiten (飛天). The water is natural onsen water. The men's and women's sides swap between morning and evening, so you can try both. Shampoo, conditioner and body soap are provided. All 32 rooms are Japanese-style with their own bath and toilet, and every room looks out over the lake. It is an older, Showa-style inn, and day visitors are welcome in the afternoon and evening.
