Tazawako Sports Center

A prefecture-run sports center in Semboku, Akita, where the lodging wing connects to the gymnasium by a covered walkway. The bath uses water from the Mizusawa onsen (水沢温泉) spring and is big enough for fifteen to twenty people at once. Overnight guests bathe there, and day visitors can drop in for higaeri nyuyoku (日帰り入浴) in the afternoon. Rooms sleep from two to ten people, there is a buffet restaurant for guests, and a large car park sits behind the building. It is a practical base for teams and training camps rather than a ryokan, with a bath to match.
