La Pause Kawada is a hot spring ryokan that also opens its baths for day use. The Japanese-style and Western-style open-air baths swap between the men's and women's sides each day, alongside an indoor bath, a dry and wet sauna, and a cold plunge kept fresh with groundwater. The water runs clear with no strong smell. The open-air bath looks out onto the forest, and the on-site restaurant serves both overnight guests and day bathers.
