Taikiyu

This is a straightforward neighborhood bathhouse, but the water is the real thing: the site describes it as 100% source hot-spring water. Indoors there are tubs of varying temperature, a gas infrared sauna and two cold plunges to alternate with, and a stone-built open-air bath outside for a quieter soak. A tatami rest area gives somewhere to sit afterward. The old dining hall has closed, so food now comes from vending machines only, and soap and shampoo aren't stocked in the wash area but can be bought at the front desk. The building also has simple overnight rooms, with guests bathing in the same shared baths as day visitors rather than in a private tub.
